Description

Nature's Way Kids Sambucus Cold and Flu Syrup is traditionally used in Herbal Medicine to help relieve symptoms of colds and flus. The delicious tasting syrup is formulated for kids with each teaspoon containing 25 mg of Black Elder, 1.5 mg of Propolis and 0.104 ml of Echinacea Complex extract. Bonus? It’s a taste your kids will love and the syrup is vegetarian.

Medicinal

Echinacea Complex Extract Equivalent to: Echinacea angustifolia (Echinacea) fresh root 14.1 mg QCE, Echinacea purpurea (Echinacea) fresh flower 6.3 mg QCE, Echinacea angustifolia (Echinacea) dry root 19.5 mg QCE  0.104 mL
Propolis (Apis mellifera - Secretion) 1.5 mg
European elder (Sambucus nigra subsp. nigra, fruit) standardized to 14% anthocyanins (8.3:1, 0.21 g QCE) 25 mg


Non-Medicinal

Fructose, purified water, glycerin, malic acid, natural raspberry flavour, potassium sorbate.

Children & Adolescents
2–9 years old - 2 teaspoons (10 mL), once daily.
10–13 years old 2 teaspoons (10 mL), twice daily.
14–17 years old 3 teaspoons (15 mL), 2-3 times daily,

Consult a health care practitioner prior to use if you are allergic to bee products, poplar tree products, or balsam of Peru; if you are pregnant or breastfeeding; if you are taking immunosuppressants; if you have an autoimmune disorder; if you have a progressive systemic disease such as tuberculosis, collagenosis, multiple sclerosis, AIDS and/or HIV infection.

Known adverse reactions: Hypersensitivity, such as allergy, has been known to occur; in which case discontinue use immediately. Rare cases of severe allergic reactions have been known to occur; use caution if you are allergic to plants of the Daisy family. Discontinue use in case of gastrointestinal upsets, such as abdominal cramps, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea. Diuretic effect may occur.
